Petticoat Creek Conservation Park
Petticoat Creek is a marvelous sight to behold and a splendid locale for spending time with family and friends. There, you have access to a privileged view of Lake Ontario. During Canada's hottest season, you can also splash at the welcoming pools available within the park's perimeters. The vast open areas are ideal for family picnics on the green grass, and the side bordering the lake is propitious for cycling lovers.
The park houses a richly varied flora, with over 69 distinct tree types ranging from oaks, pine, and willows, among many others. In addition, you'll encounter rabbits, squirrels, red-tailed hawks, and white-tail deer, to name just a few animals.
Keep in mind that the pool and splash pad will not open for the remainder of 2023, so you may only have access to the six picnic sites and the Waterfront Trail.
